Finding Fitness Freedom: A Journey to Staying Active and Motivated
Have you ever been in a rut? Not only physically, but mentally too? That is what happened to me a few years back. I have always tried to stay active doing some sort of exercises/activities, but I found that I needed a change and something to get me and keep me motivated. I had always been interested in trying out an Encompass class but the thought of traveling to Estevan every day discouraged me as I was newly retired, a home body and wanted less running into town as I did it every day for many years up to my retirement.
Cofit - The fitness experience for rural women. Well this now had my interest so I reached out to Brady when they were doing a 6 week trial. Well here I am a year and a half later.
It fits in nicely with whatever my schedule is. For me that changes with the seasons. Living on an acreage, summer is busier for me with being outside and doing lots of yard work. So I can adjust my workout schedule to what I need or can fit it then. I love to run and join or sign up for 5km or 10 km races and the daily workouts help keep me conditioned, strong and mobile. I can't forget mentioning that I am a grandma of 9 beautiful grandchildren. It is great to be able to run, play and climb with them. The workouts whether its strength, mobility, cardio, push, etc. help me stay in shape to do the things I love.
And its online - so you can pick your time of day no matter when you get up or what your day looks like. All the coaches are inspiring, motivating and very supportive. And you can reach out to them anytime you need extra help or may be struggling. If you like to workout in the comfort of your own home, whenever works for you - this is definitely a great program to be part of. It is a great feeling to be part of such a wonderful Fit Family. I am so glad I tried it out and I know you would too!!!
